- Spoleto Festival U.S.A. - Each spring, Charleston hosts Spoleto, widely acclaimed as one of the world’s premier major arts festivals. Spanning 17 days and nights, there are more than 120 performances by renowned artists and emerging performers in a wide range of visual and performing arts
- Piccolo Spoleto. - A companion event to the Spoleto festival, Piccolo Spoleto is held each May, focusing on regional and local talent, and includes the annual Sweetgrass Cultural Arts Festival.
- Charleston Food and Wine Festival - An annual culinary celebration showcasing local and national talent and cuisine, when award-winning chefs and winemakers descend upon the port city for tastings, demonstrations, and themed dining events.
- Festival of Houses and Gardens - This award winning series is held each spring, as owners of close to 150 historic properties in and around Charleston open their homes and gardens for guided tours. Accompanying events include walking tours, oyster roasts, wine tastings, a lecture series and more.
- Lowcountry Blues Bash - Charleston sings the blues during this annual 10-day event, when more than 75 shows featuring more than 40 acts at 18 venues fill the city with music and soul!
