American Cancer Society

In the past several years, Coldwell Banker United, Realtors^® has raised more than $311,000 to support breast cancer research through the American Cancer Society.

Sales associates, employees and even clients have helped raise funds through many company events and promotions, including:

	Selling for a Cure One Home at a Time An annual program in which our sales associates can contribute a percentage of their home sales to the American Cancer Society’s breast cancer research fund, while staff members can give a donation from their paychecks throughout the year.
	2005 Get Teed Off About Breast Cancer Golf Tournament An annual golf tournament organized by our sales associates and staff, supported by the community with donations and the opportunity for the public to play. Click here for photos of the 2005 tournament.
	“Making Strides Against Breast Cancer” Walk An annual walk that our staff sales associates, friends and families participate in to raise money and awareness. In 2005, the a three-mile walk was held at SouthPark Mall in Charlotte. CBUR had the largest team at the walk! Click here for photos.

Richard Smith, owner and president of Coldwell Banker United, Realtors, was presented with the coveted Excalibur Award--the highest distinction for efforts in supporting the American Cancer Society's mission.
